“We just left after an absolutely wonderful stay at Grand Hotel Astoria. Yes, the rooms a little outdated and there are fancier/pricier places in Trentino but we have been to many of them in previous years and they have nothing that this hotel doesn't offer. ROOM was beyond perfect, double bed for us and three beds for the kids in a separate alcove, all super spacious with amazing view (see pics). FOOD was better than more high end hotels. I was so surprised when at breakfast I asked the chef if there was anything homemade and she said ALL the cakes she'd made fresh, and it shows --- strudel was out of this world, and just all around great. AMENITIES- the pool was just perfect for the kids and me and hibby alternated going into the fancy private adults only sauna for free *** what a treat ***! We played ping pong, squash, used the baby room and had fun with Ivan that organized the baby dance, games and even a Carnival party after dinner, so much fun. MASSAGE --- I'm not one for splurging but they had a massage 50% off at €27 for an hour which seemed very cheap to me and after 3 days on the slopes (which are just a couple of minutes away in either directions) I thought why not. I think she was called Cecilia, she did the Reiki holistic massage and it was truly the best massage I have ever had! Wow I'm just blown away that we were so lucky to find this place in a fully booked Alps during Carnival, Winter Olympics in Italy and the busiest skiing week all season, relatively inexpensive and so so worth it! No lines on the slopes, cheap classes to ski/snowboarding (we have both in the family) so thank you to all the staff for such a great vacation!”
“Fantastische pool/hallebad, 15 meter lang, und 1.45 tief/deep. Clean. Water 24° Nice terras and menu card. Nice food. So, a confortable hotel with exceptionally friendly and hard working staff. A magical view over the mountains and the lake. Plenty of food for a reasonable price. Supermarket is 2 minutes walk. The beautiful church is across the street. Fantastic swimming pool. It was a pleasant stay. Thank you for everything.”
